On October 14, 2023, my family and I watched the solar eclipse visible from North America.  It was overcast where we were, so eclipse glasses didn't work too well, but the cloud cover was just right that I could look up with a good pair of sunglasses.  It was not a total eclipse for us.

A little later I was looking up at the cloudy sky when C-Ko came along and asked me, “Are you still looking at the apocalypse?”
